Sussex County Arts & Heritage Council (SCAHC) is pleased to invite the public to a special Reception for the 55th Anniversary Exhibition on Saturday, January 24, from 2:00 to 3:30 PM at the SCAHC Gallery located at 133 Spring Street in Newton. In the event of inclement weather, the reception will be held on the snow date of Saturday, January 31 from 2:00 to 3:30 PM.

This celebratory gathering offers visitors a chance to experience the 55th Anniversary Exhibition—on view from January 15th to March 5th, 2026—which highlights more than five decades of creative voices, cultural heritage, and community connection in Sussex County. Guests will enjoy light refreshments and the special opportunity to meet the artists in the exhibition.

SCAHC invites all community members, art lovers, supporters, and visitors to join in celebrating this milestone exhibition and the creative spirit that has shaped the organization for more than half a century!

Admission to SCAHC’s Receptions are free; however, DONATIONS are always welcome and appreciated to help SCAHC continue its mission of enriching and supporting the artistic and cultural fabric of our community.
