Sussex County Arts & Heritage Council (SCAHC) is excited to announce the drop-off dates for its anticipated Members Showcase Exhibition, “The Color of Sound,” on view from October 29 – November 20, 2025, at the SCAHC Gallery, 133 Spring Street, Newton.

All current SCAHC member artists wishing to participate are invited to deliver their work during the following dates:
• Friday, October 24 | 11:00 AM – 4:00 PM
• Saturday, October 25 | 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM

This year’s theme, “The Color of Sound,” encourages artists to explore the sensory dialogue between sound and vision—interpreting music, rhythm, and silence through color, form, and emotion. Artists can become members during drop-off to participate!
The entry fees are only $5 per piece (maximum of 4 pieces).

Visitors are invited to vote for their favorite piece through November 14 at 3:00 PM. The artist with the most votes will be awarded the People’s Choice Award during a special Reception and Awards Presentation on Saturday, November 15 from 2:00 – 3:30 PM. Light refreshments will be served and artists will be present to discuss their work.

The SCAHC Gallery is open Tuesday through Friday, 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM, and Saturdays, 12:00 – 5:00 PM. Admission is free and open to all!
