Cub Pack 140 Celebrates Past, Present and Future

Cub Scout Pack 140’s Blue and Gold Dinner celebrated friendship and personal achievement, including the recognition of the achievements of several past Eagle Scouts.

Speakers at the spring dinner, held at the Mohican Outdoor Center in Hardwick, included State Senator Doug Steinhardt, who shared insights of how Scouting helped shape his character and leadership abilities. In addition to serving in the State Senate, Steinhardt is a founding member of the law firm of Florio Perrucci Steinhardt Cappelli & Tipton.

“Michael Sullivan, an Eagle Scout who began his Scouting journey in our very own Pack 140, inspired our Scouts by demonstrating how the values learned in Cub Scouting can lead to lifelong success and service,” said Debra Shipps, one of the leaders of Pack 140.

The afternoon also featured awards, special recognitions and fellowship among our Scouting families. Shipps extended a thank you to all the volunteers, families, guests and Scouts who helped make the event a memorable success.

“Pack 140’s Blue and Gold Dinner was a wonderful celebration of Scouting, friendship, and achievement,” said Shipps. “Families, Scouts and leaders gathered to enjoy a meal, recognize the accomplishments of our Scouts and reflect on another successful year of adventures and service. We look forward to another exciting year with Pack 140.”
