Polls are open today from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. for voters to cast their ballots in the Democratic and Republican primaries.
In the United States Senate race, current U.S. Senator Cory Booker is running unopposed in the Democratic primary, but four Republicans are hoping to unseat him: Republicans Alex Zdan, Richard Tabor, Robert Lebovics and Justin Murphy have all put their name on the ballot for New Jersey senator.
New Jersey’s other senator is currently Democrat Andy Kim, who was voted in two years ago. Each U.S. senator is elected to serve a six-year term.
In New Jersey’s 7th congressional district, which includes Warren County, Democrats Rebecca Bennett, Michael Roth, Tina Shah, and Brian Varela are trying to unseat Republican Thomas Kean Jr. who has raised eyebrows for his absenteeism lately.
To cast your ballot in person, head to your local polling site. Voters can also check their mailed sample ballots to find their polling sites.
Early in-person voting started last week and wrapped up this past Sunday.
Vote by Mail ballots can still be 1) dropped in an official county drop box by 8 p.m. or 2) be delivered in person to the Warren County Board of Elections office located at 202 Mansfield St., Belvidere, also by 8 p.m. tonight.
Ballots dropped at the post office and postmarked on or by Election Day are also valid, however recent changes in postal procedures may impact mail-in voting.
The primary election will be certified on Friday, June 12, 2026.
