Dana C. Genovese, 60, of Mt. Arlington, NJ, passed away peacefully on October 3, 2025, in Morristown, NJ. Born on May 4, 1965, in Dover, NJ, Dana was the beloved daughter of Jack and the late Patricia (Boyki) Stevens.
Dana grew up in Mt. Arlington, a town that always held a special place in her heart. After living elsewhere for a time, she returned home about ten years ago to be near the people and places she loved. Known for her big heart and selfless spirit, Dana would do anything for others if she was able—often putting their needs before her own.
She found peace and joy in the simple things, especially spending quiet moments by the pond near her home and feeding the turtles. But Dana’s greatest happiness came from being with her grandchildren. Known lovingly to them as “Bigga,” she cherished every moment fishing, crafting, and making memories with them. They were truly her pride and joy.
Dana is survived by her loving partner, Tony, with whom she made her home; her cherished daughters Brianna, Hannah, and Sydney; and her sons-in-law Vincent and Oscar. She leaves behind her adored grandchildren: Savannah, Lydia, Delilah, Alexander, Aulbrie, Jayden, Jaxdyn, Elion, Michael, Braxton, Auriella and Henry.
In addition to her father Jack, Dana is also survived by her sister Christa Dulio and her husband Joe; and four loving nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her mother, Patricia, and her brother, Tom.
Dana’s kindness, warmth, and unwavering love for her family will be remembered always. Her memory lives on in the hearts of those she touched.
