Blairstown Fireworks Still On—for Now, Says Rotary Club

This was last updated at 5:29 p.m. Check Rotary Club Facebook page for the latest updates. Despite storms rolling through the region, Blairstown’s Fourth of July fireworks are still scheduled for tonight — pending further weather developments.

In a statement posted around 5 p.m., the Blairstown Rotary Club, which organizes the event, said:

“It is our goal to hold the fireworks event this evening. We are watching the weather closely. As of now it appears as though it should clear up.”

Rotary noted they are coordinating with the Blairstown Police Department, emergency services, and Celebration Fireworks, Inc., the company responsible for the display. These partners will make the final call, with public safety as the top priority.

Residents are encouraged to monitor the Rotary Club’s Facebook page for real-time updates.
