Pat devoted much of his life to the art of shipbuilding, working as a shipwright for 36 years at the Royal Navel DockYard in Portsmouth, England followed by another decade at Viking Yachts in the United States. His craftsmanship, dedication, and pride in his work left a lasting impression on all who knew him.

A proud supporter of Manchester United, Patrick never missed a match when he could help it. Pat also represented (Pompey) Portsmouth Football Club from the ages of 11 to 17. He also had a passion for puzzles, whether it was crosswords or jigsaw puzzles, he loved a good challenge and always loved working with his hands, there was not anything he could not build. Pat was known for his larger-than-life personality and zest for celebration, hosting parties for every occasion and ensuring there was always a reason to gather, laugh, and enjoy.

Above all, Pat cherished his family. They were the center of his world, and he never missed an opportunity to show his love and support.
