Catherine Marie Keller, 70, of White Township, NJ, passed away peacefully on April 5, 2025, with her loving family by her side. Born on July 13, 1954, in Newton, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Thomas W. and June P. (Behler) Keller Sr.
Cathy dedicated over 30 years of her life to her role as an accountant at the Edna Mahan Correctional Facility for Women in Clinton, NJ. Known for her meticulous work ethic and unwavering dedication, she made a lasting impact in her field.
Outside of her professional life, Cathy enjoyed traveling, gardening, spending time with her fur babies and volunteering at food pantries. Cathy’s heart was full of compassion. Her commitment to helping those in need reflected her kind and giving spirit.
Cathy is survived by her siblings, Patricia Hendershot (Charles Sr.), Thomas W. Keller Jr. (Bonnie), and Michael P. Keller (Carrie). She also leaves behind her beloved nephews, Charles Hendershot Jr. (Jureemas), Thomas W. III (Jess) and her niece, Amanda Hendershot. Her great-nephews, Patrick, Titan Hendershot and Paxton, Beckett Keller brought her great joy. Cathy is also survived by her extended family, including Nicole, Chace, and Avery, all of whom were dear to her.
Cathy was known to many as Aunt Cathy.
Services will be private, with arrangements entrusted to Newbaker Funeral Home in Blairstown, NJ.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Belvidere food pantry or your choice of animal rescue in Cathy’s memory, reflecting her lifelong dedication to helping others.
Cathy will be deeply missed by all who knew her for her warmth, generosity, and unwavering love for her family. May she rest in peace.
