Angel Perez, 72, of East Stroudsburg, passed away peacefully on April 20, 2025 surrounded by his family.
Born on March 29, 1953, in Camuy, Puerto Rico, Angel was the son of the late Thomas Perez and Magdalina Acevedo. He spent his early years in Puerto Rico before moving to the United States at the age of 16, settling in Paterson, NJ.
Angel worked as a dedicated machinery technician for Unifold Corp in Passaic for many years. He raised his family in Paterson and later moved to Hackettstown, eventually making East Stroudsburg his home for the past 12 years.
Angel had a warm, easygoing nature and enjoyed life’s simple pleasures. He loved playing slots at the casino, playing bingo, fishing but what made him the happiest was spending quality time with his children and grand children. He often had smile on his face and a good story to share.
He is survived by his cherished daughters, Brenda, Millie, Johanna, sons Andy, Elvin, Angel L., . He was preceded in death by his wife of 34 years, Carmen L. Perez. Angel will be remembered for his kind heart, strong work ethic, his faith and the love he shared with his family and friends.
His memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
Relatives and Friends may visit on Thursday April 24th from 6:00-8:00 PM at Newbaker Funeral Home, 200 Route 94, Blairstown, NJ 07825. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, April 25th at Newbaker Funeral Home, interment will follow at Sand Hill Cemetery, East Stroudsburg, PA.
