New Jersey Chapter of the Young Survival Coalition Hosts Kickoff Event at Gnome Hollow Preserve

PRESS RELEASE: NEWTON, N.J. – The New Jersey Chapter of the Young Survival Coalition (YSC) is proud to announce the launch of its chapter with a special event titled “Walk in the Woods.” This event, dedicated to connecting young breast cancer survivors, will take place at the picturesque Gnome Hollow Preserve, hosted by Ridge and Valley Conservancy, on Saturday, May 4, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The YSC is an international organization committed to supporting and empowering young women diagnosed with breast cancer under the age of 40. Recognizing the unique challenges faced by this demographic, the YSC aims to provide resources, connections and a supportive community tailored to their needs.

“Walk in the Woods” invites young breast cancer survivors to come together in a serene natural setting, fostering connections and sharing experiences of healing and resilience during and after treatment. Amidst the tranquil surroundings of Gnome Hollow Preserve, attendees will have the opportunity to connect and discuss the healing power of nature during and after treatment.
