Water Street Debuts New Music At Roy’s Hall

PRESS RELEASE: BLAIRSTOWN, N.J. – Hometown band Water Street takes the stage once again at Roy’s Hall on Saturday, May 4, at 8 p.m. with new music and special guests Close Drive. Original members David Paulson (acoustic guitar, lead vocals) and Connor Konecnik (percussion) whose roots are in Blairstown are now joined by musicians Julia Aiello (vocals), Alex Kerssen (keys, saxophone), Brendon Gardner (bass guitar) and Eddie Woodcock (electric guitar) to give their music a dynamic energy and fresh sound.

Water Street (aptly named after the street in Blairstown where the band makes their music) has been on a trajectory since the 2022 release of their 11-song album “All We Tried to Be,” followed by their popular singles “Pen Pals” and “Carolina” released in 2023. Their songs have received both airplay and rave reviews from music sites and are available on all streaming platforms.

New, never-performed music will be featured at the May 4 show, which the band is excited to share.

“It feels like we’re starting to know what kind of music we want to make,” said Pauslon.

The show will also feature indie-rock band Close Drive from the suburbs of Philadelphia, who take their cues from bands like The Strokes and Arctic Monkeys with music that seamlessly switches from tender ballads to energetic rock songs. Tickets for the show can be purchased in advance at
