Former ACO Scott Hendricks Thanks Blairstown Residents

Former Blairstown animal control officer Scott Hendricks gave a statement to the Ridge View Echo on his replacement as Blairstown’s animal control officer. Many residents were familiar with Hendricks’ prompt response time to calls for help and his vast knowledge of wildlife local to the area.

“After five years of outstanding animal control services to the many Blairstown residents, domestic animals, livestock and wildlife, the position was outsourced. I am focusing my energies on my farm and our alpacas and wish to thank the many residents who supported me over the years,” said Hendricks.

Hendricks, an alpaca and hay farmer, has had a varied career, not just as an animal control officer, but as an animal cruelty investigator, member of the NJ Venomous Snake Response Team, noise control officer, building inspector and former real estate agent.
