Allyn Jean Mardy, 79, of Bloomfield, passed away on November 3, 2023 at Van Dyk Health Care in Montclair. Allyn was born on September 20, 1944 in Roche-à-Bateau, Haiti. Allyn is survived by his wife Jesula Mardy; children Judith Mardy, Murielle Mardy, Francois Jean-Baptiste, Francesca Jean-Baptiste and Allyn Joseph Mardy; and his many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Allyn was an extremely devoted father who would go above and beyond for his kids. Anyone who has had the pleasure of meeting Allyn will most likely agree that he had an undeniable charm that grasped the attention of many. He always wanted to put a smile on someone’s face by what he loved to do the most: his cooking.
A celebration of Allyn’s life will take place on November 13, 2023 at 10 a.m. at Bethsaida Church in West Orange.
