Ramon W. Roof, 88, of Columbia, NJ, passed away at home on August 5, 2023. Born in Newton, NJ on February 11, 1935, to Orman W. and Ruth (Read) Roof. He had been a self-employed truck driver for Harmony Sand and Gravel. He was a fan of fast cars, particularly his Chrysler 300. Ramon loved Chrysler cars, and had them his whole life. He and his father were big Detroit Sports fans, especially the Detroit Lions and Detroit Tigers. Ramon also enjoyed watching the stock market everyday.
He is survived by a son Gregory Roof and wife Jennifer, three grandchildren, Connor, Emily and Kevin Roof and his partner of 25 years, Margaret Stampone. He was predeceased by a son, Gary.
A graveside service will be held privately at Hainesburg Cemetery. Services are entrusted to Newbaker Funeral Home,
