Edward Gramberg, 89, lifelong resident of Blairstown, passed away on Saturday, April 29th, 2023 in Newton. He was born in Blairstown to Zygmont and Mary (Wolczyk) Gramberg on May 11th, 1933.
He was a self-employed dairy farmer and after retiring he worked at the Land of Make Believe in Hope.
Ed was an outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was a self-taught drummer and played in the family polka band, Hope Trio, entertaining many at various functions in the Blairstown area. More recently, Ed enjoyed listening and dancing to polka music or just spending time with family and friends. Known to many as “Uncle Eddie,” he will probably be most remembered for wanting everyone to have a good time.
In addition to his parents, Ed was predeceased by sisters Sophie Roszkowski, Anna Skiladz, Josephine Zukoski and Helen Winters and brothers Frank, Felix, Joe, Mike, Charlie and Stanley. He is survived by many nieces and nephews, great-nieces and -nephews and even great-great-nieces and -nephews.
Edward has been entrusted to the care of Newbaker Funeral Home, Blairstown.
