Robert “Scott” Henning, 60 years of age, a resident of Blairstown, passed away on March 14, 2023 in Delaware Township, New Jersey.
He was born on November 27, 1962, in Westfield and grew up in Scotch Plains before moving to Blairstown in 1997. Scott was a union electrician for Local 102 IBEW in Parsippany. He was a music lover, especially Black Sabbath and Frank Zappa, and really enjoyed going to live shows. He worked at Warner Lambert, now known as Pfizer, for many years until an accident forced him to go on disability. He loved fishing and a favorite hobby was talking on his CB radio where he had a channel 31 family, where he would talk to many friends over the years with a handle of MrGreed151.
He is survived by his wife Pattie Henning; a son Scott Henning; daughter Samantha Henning; granddaughter Cassidy Rae; cousin Michelle Sparano; and an aunt, Judy Pederson. He was predeceased by his mother, Joyce.
A period of visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, March 18, with words of remembrance starting at 1 p.m. at the Newbaker Funeral Home, 200 Route 94, Blairstown.
