BLAIRSTOWN, N.J. – For over three decades, the Morris Museum has showcased talented New Jersey high school students and recognized their dedicated teachers and staff members. This year, 300 students submitted artwork, with 50 pieces chosen. Two North Warren Regional High School students were recognized for their outstanding work in Fresh Perspectives 2023, a hybrid exhibition that includes an online virtual gallery that will display the 50 entries recognized by the museum’s jury panel. From these 50 entries, the curatorial team will select a number of 2D and 3D works for display at the Morris Museum in a curated Fresh Perspectives 2023 exhibition through May 14, 2023.
Kathryn Zurovchak, daughter of Joseph Zurovchak and Susan Enders, will be featured in the visual artist gallery exhibiting her self portrait, “Breathe.” Emalee Besser, daughter of Joe and Lisa Besser, will have her piece titled “Moo Moo” featured in the curated gallery exhibition. Please visit https://morrismuseum.org/on-view/current/fresh-perspectives-2023 to view these pieces on the Morris Museum website or visit the gallery at 6 Normandy Heights Road, Morristown.
