Erin Marie Boyle, 34 years of age, a resident of Belvidere, passed away suddenly at her home on Feb. 22, 2023.
She had received her associate degree from Miller Motte College in criminal justice. She was continuing her education at Denver University. She was a lover of all people and got great pleasure in helping people. Her favorite pastimes were going to the beach and surfing. She enjoyed going to clubs and listening to dance music. She loved sunflower gardens and a sunflower will be planted in the spring as a sign of remembrance to her.
Erin also enjoyed going to Dunkin’ Donuts for coffee and a snack. She also liked celebrating Christmas in the country with the real trees, ornaments and the wine tasting that went along with it. She loved her pet dog Tinkerbell. She loved horses and was looking forward to going up to Nick’s farm in North Carolina to meet his horse and animals. She loved life with a passion and most of all was always true to herself. Erin loved family and all the ties that bind one together for life. Erin loved unicorns and would want all the people who loved her to keep the magic in their hearts.
She is survived by her mother, Annmarie Boyle; stepfather, Gene Leddy; father Ray Boyle and his wife, Pam; her sister Melissa Uhlmann and brother-in-law Dennis Uhlmann; her brother RJ Boyle; and her nephew Theo Boyle.
A visitation will be held from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 27, 2023. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday Feb. 28, 2023 at St. Patrick’s Roman Catholic Church, 327 Greenwich Street, Belvidere.
