Brenda G. Maxman, a life-long resident of Blairstown, 74 years of age, passed away surrounded by her loving family. She was born in East Stroudsburg, PA to Frank and Adelma (Cramer) Lenkey on June 10, 1948. If you knew Brenda, you knew she was a fan of three things Elvis Presley, the New York Mets, but most of all her family. Her personal passions were gardening, particularly flowers, and she enjoyed all sorts of wildlife including birds, deer, and even squirrels. She loved going to the beach especially down in LBI. Her biggest passion in life was her grandchildren whom she adored.
She is survived by her husband of 53 years, John, two daughters, Jenna Maxman and significant other Michael Sweet, Melissa Voorhees and husband Tom, her grandchildren Jack and Alexa Tironi, Collin and Delia Voorhees and her brother Frank Lenkey.
A period of visitation will be from 2-4 and 6-8, Tuesday, December 27, 2022 at Newbaker Funeral Home, 200 Route 94, Blairstown, NJ 07825, a service will be held on Wednesday, December 28, 2022 at 11 AM. Interment immediately after at Cedar Ridge Cemetery, Route 94, Blairstown, NJ.
