Zoey Covello McClain, 19 years of age, residing in Columbia NJ, passed away on November 6, 2022 from a tragic automobile accident.
She was and continues to be a beacon of light for her family, friends, and anyone who met her. Born September 26, 2003 to Doug McClain and Susan Turso, graduate and star softball player from Nutley High School and aspiring Dental Hygienist.
Along with her three sisters Kayla, Derika and Aleya McClain, Zoey became a National Ski Patroller, after a childhood on the mountain with her family. She passionately lived life and experienced all the joys skiing, softball, snowmobiling, fishing. Zoey and her loving and devoted boyfriend Alex, found great joy into bringing life into the discarded, renewing old furniture, vans, and cars.
She is survived by her father Doug and Kristina McClain, her mother Susan and Mike Turso, Three sisters Kayla, Derika and Aleya McClain, brother Dean Turso and boyfriend/partner in crime Alexander Schwenke.
A memorial visitation will be held from 2-7 PM, Friday, November 11, 2022 with a Memorial service to follow at 7PM at Newbaker Funeral Home, 200 Route 94, Blairstown, NJ 07825.
