Roberta Mae Dolinsky, 79 years of age, a resident of Belvidere, NJ, passed away in Stroudsburg, PA on November 2, 2022 with her family at her side. She was born in Louisville, Kentucky on January 5, 1943. After meeting her soon-to-be husband, Ronald, they moved to NJ where they were married. She raised her sons, Brian and Randall, in Clifton, NJ. She was a dedicated and supportive mother who volunteered her time to little league and never missed a ball game! She returned to the workforce as a legal secretary once her children were older. Roberta and Ronald moved to Knowlton Township in 1995 and enjoyed country living. Slowly but surely, her sons moved to the area with their families, as well. She enjoyed having her family in close proximity.
Roberta had been a legal secretary for 20 years with the firm Houston & Palmer, Hackettstown, NJ, before retiring in 2015. She loved animals, especially the numerous family dogs she owned over the years. Reading, cooking and baking were special hobbies and she also made delicious holiday meals for the family. She had also been a member of the “Red Hats Society”.
Roberta is survived by her two sons, Brian Dolinsky and his wife, Colleen, Randall “Randy”, and daughter-in-law, Susan Vaughan Dolinsky. She is the loving grandmother/nana of four grandchildren Connor, Tyler, Kayleigh and Erika Dolinsky. She was predeceased by her husband Ronald in 2012.
A visitation will be held from 3-6 PM, Saturday, November 5, 2022 at Newbaker Funeral Home, 200 Route 94, Blairstown, NJ 07825. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN38105
