Spring Festival Happening May 7th at Blairstown Fire Department

Local vendor and craft fair arrives just in time for Mother’s Day gift shopping

PRESS RELEASE: BLAIRSTOWN (April 26, 2022) – The BEC is hosting the “Blairstown Spring Festival” on May 7th from 10am – 2pm at the Hose Company #1 building 5 Stillwater Road. The festival is the perfect opportunity to shop for gifts for mom or yourself from over 20 local vendors. You will also be able to grab a bite to eat from Chef’s Catering or Rosie’s Empanadas while listening to the acoustics of musicians from local band “Water Street.”

“The focus of the BEC is on beautification, economic development, and community,” said Blairstown Enhancement Committee president Dave Paulson. “After seeing the community’s positive response to our Blairstown Fall Festival event, we felt that following up with a small spring festival was the perfect way to bring people together again for a good time in support of our efforts. We truly appreciate the support of the Township Committee and the Fire Department to help make this event happen in a great, rain-or-shine, location.”

The Spring Festival will showcase the work of local creators, vendors and eateries, making it easy for the community to come together to support small businesses. From paintings to candles and holiday décor to cosmetic products, there is something for everyone. There will also be plenty of fun for children of all ages, from 2 to 92, with kid’s activities and even health screenings complements of the Blairstown Ambulance Corps. Village Sundaes of downtown Blairstown will be onsite so everyone can enjoy the taste of Spring before they leave.

Admission to the Spring Festival is FREE thanks to the support of some really amazing local businesses: Mission Chiropractic, ACME Foundation, Newton Medical Center and Re/Max Ridge Real Estate.
