Robert K. Taylor, 74 years of age, a resident of East Stroudsburg, PA, passed away on April 2, 2022, after a long illness at his home. He was born in Camden, NJ on July 9, 1947, to Albert and Florence (Williamson) Taylor. He had been a manager of Beneficial Finance for 23 years and was retired for 10. He was honorably discharged from the US Army after serving from 1966 – 1969 during the Vietnam War. He was a sports lover, especially the Phillies, Eagles, and the Flyers. Traveling with family on vacations was a particular passion and he enjoyed taking care of his yard, especially taking pride in his lawn.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Kathryn. Two sons; Matthew, Glendale, AZ and Joshua, E. Stroudsburg, PA, grandson Zachary, Glendale, AZ, and sister June Gawronski, FL.
A short viewing will be held at Newbaker Funeral Home, Blairstown NJ. Followed by a military committal and honors taking place at 1:30PM, April 18, 2022, at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, PA.
