Charles “Chickie” Kowaleuski, 66 years of age, a resident of Blairstown, NJ, passed away on January 1,2022 in Newton, NJ. He was born in Fort Hood, Tx on April 1 1955 to Charles Joseph and Patricia Joy (Hann) Kowalewski. He was a computer technician for IBM in Poughkeepsie,NY. His love of family and especially his grandchildren and loved to tell them long “short” stories. His love extended to friends whom he considered family. He enjoyed motorcycle riding and sharing experiences with people and teaching others through his experiences. He was always helping friends and family.
He is survived by his wife Sylvia (Vashon) Kowalueski, five sons Brian Lossier, Kenneth Kowaleuski, Alexander Kowaleuski and wife Becky, Nicholas Lossier, Dennis Kowaleuski. A daughter Natasha Kowaleuski-Bifferato and husband Adam, grandchildren, Joshua Carter and Madeline Corbett, Charlie and R.J. Kowaleuski, Azlee Bifferato, his father Charles Joseph and wife Luba,brother Christopher and wife Debbie,a sister Jennifer Loughlin husband Joseph many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his mother Patricia and sister Patricia Acevedo.
Visitation will be from 4:30 – 6:30 PM, Friday, January 7, 2022 at Newbaker Funeral Home, 200 Route 94,Blairstown, NJ 07825 with a memorial service at 6:30 PM. A Memorial Mass will take place on
Saturday,January 8, 2022 at St.Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church, Newton, NJ 07860.
